Trainees Gear Up for Supervised Industry Learning
An orientation session for the upcoming SIL Industry Immersion/On-the-Job Training (OJT) program was conducted on June 2, 2025, at 1:00 P. M. in the APACC Room. The session provided details to prepare first and second-year Diploma in Hospitality Management Technology, Diploma in Food Production Serviced Management Technology, Diploma in Automotive Engineering Technology, and Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology students for their 240-hour OJT.
The orientation was led by Mr. Presco Cañete Jr., Administrative Officer IV, who discussed the requirements, expectations, and guidelines. He was assisted by Ms. Judy Ann Patricio, a support staff from the Registrar’s Office, who helped address students' concerns.
The session ensured that students were well-informed about their responsibilities and the opportunities ahead as they prepared for real-world industry experience as trainees. The event concluded with an open forum, allowing students to clarify details before the immersion begins.
