A total of 100 trainers and assessors participated in a comprehensive calibration session conducted on June 20, 2025, at the Zamboanga Sibugay Polytechnic Institute (ZSPI) in Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay. The activity aimed to reinforce alignment with the latest Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) standards and protocols, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality and industry-responsive skills training across the province.
This initiative supports TESDA Director General Secretary Jose Francisco βKikoβ B. Benitezβs 8-Point Agendaβparticularly on promoting global competitiveness and institutional excellenceβand is in line with the directives of TESDA IX Regional Director Tarhata S. Mapandi. By strengthening the capacity of its trainers, TESDA Zamboanga Sibugay remains steadfast in its commitment to elevate the provinceβs TVET system and to deliver inclusive, relevant, and world-class technical education.
