OFFICIAL STATEMENT
We are deeply saddened by the fire incident that occurred at the Zamboanga Sibugay Polytechnic Institute (ZSPI)—a TESDA-administered school in Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay—on May 2, 2025, at approximately 2:15 PM. We are profoundly grateful that no one was harmed.
We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the brave firefighters and first responders who acted swiftly to contain the blaze and prevent further damage. Your courage and quick action are deeply valued. Currently, BFP are conducting their investigation, once available, we will update the public accordingly.
To all ZSPIans—our administrators, trainers, staff, and learners—we assure you: we will recover, rebuild, and rise stronger. This incident does not define us; it will inspire us.
Let this setback be the spark for a stronger comeback. We remain steadfast in our mission—because education must never stop.
