The Transition: What Does Tomorrow Bring?

For ZSPI TESDA Gradutes, what comes after the uniforms? Perhaps another set of uniforms, but they should be called work uniforms at that time. Sure this time the future might no longer be be full of school works and assignments, no more midterm and final exams, no more group projects and the like. That is true, however, it also means that you've arrived at the stage where your next course of action dictates the majority of your life's worth.
And for ZSPI's TESDA graduates, their  worth is proportional to the skills they've cultivated all these years. And according to the message from TESDA Region IX Acting Regional Director, (SGD) Engr. Alan T. Bacatan, CESE, "Graduates, today is a celebration of achievement. But more than that, it is a celebration of choice. Because long before this milestone, you made a decision. That decision includes choosing a skill. And skills are not merely about finding jobs. They are about creating communities, building resilience, and thus every Filipino has a chance to participate in the country's growth."
And indeed, because skills are terrific tools for anyone's future. But they're tools, nonetheless. And what you do with the said tool corresponds with the type of future you envision yourself with. That is why, this year's graduation theme of "ZSPI TESDA Graduates: Work-Ready Skills, Transforming Lives and Communities.", greatly highlights the expectations behind today's graduates.
At that is having the same courage, the same resilience, and the same determination that they showcased during their student years, as they step foot into real society. Altogether, we applaud this day's success, and we also look forward to whatever achievements' are in store for these graduates after today. Because graduation is never the final chapter of their story. Not the last page in their lives' journey. And, definitely never the last step to success. Therefore, to the 210 ZSPI graduates of Class 2026, confidently raise your caps, and watch those tassels float. Carefully savor his starting taste of success for now, because there will be bigger opportunities to celebrate later on. And lastly, reach out your hands with the same confidence to tackle whatever tomorrow you choose.
