School celebrates 70th Founding Anniversary

Kabasalan Institute of Technology in its 70th anniversary celebration has once again organized a three- day series of events in commemoration and in celebration of the 70th founding anniversary as educational institution and its 55th anniversary as Tech-Voc Institution on September 19 -22, 2019.
The theme of this year’s celebration is ‘’70 years of Providing Opportunities for lifelong Learning and Gainful Employment’’.
Highlight of the events were Intramurals 2018, Search for Mr. & Miss. KIT 2018, Search for Mr. & Miss Intramurals 2018, Open House Exhibits, Parade and the Grand Alumni Homecoming.
The activity started with a grand parade conducted on September 19 which commenced at 8:30 in the morning.

The parade was participated by the students in the different sectors namely; Automotive /Land Transport, Electronics, Construction, Garments, Metals and Engineering, Information & Communication Technology, Tourism, Health, and Other Community Programs Development Services and Processed Food and Beverage.
The teaching personnel and non-teaching personnel also joined the parade, with the special participation of the PNP for security purposes.
The students wore their colorful athletic uniforms during the parade like blue for water Tribe, red for Fire Nation The color and the team names were blue for Water Tribe, red for Fire Nation and yellow for Earth Kingdom, green for air temple.
Right after the parade, the ROTC Unit executed Pass in Review which was witnessed by the entire studentry and parents.
The audience gave resounding applause to their every execution.
Different athletic delegations join in the parade which signals the start of the four-day celebration of the school’s founding anniversary.
The cadets and cadettes stand in attention as the officers and the school administrator are trooping the line.
The Drum and Bugle corps leads the different athletic teams during the parade.
